A journal documenting our pit-firing process in Healaugh, Yorkshire, 2021.
 
Using locally sourced materials as combustibles, the smoke imbues the pots with unique, natural hues—as though painted by nature itself. The materials used include: sawdust, wood shavings, straw, dried seaweed, mussel shells, banana peels, coffee grounds, wool, and dried manure.
